Dr. Rasheena is presently working as a Consultant – Anterior Segment, Paediatric Ophthalmology, Strabismus & Neuro-ophthalmology at Dr. Pattnaik’s Laser Eye Institute , New Delhi, since October’2008. Experienced in Refractive surgery (LASIK, Clear Lens Extraction, Phakic Intraocular lenses) and Visiting Consultant at Sharma Eye Hospital, Ambala.

• Traumatic cataract surgeries with/ without Endocapsular ring, Corneoscleral Tear repairs
• Phacoemulsification and Small incision cataract surgery
• Scleral fixated Intraocular lenses
• Dermoid excision and patch graft

Glaucoma – Trabeculectomy, Combined Cataract with Trabeculectomy, Trabeculotomy with trabeculectomy under assistance

Oculoplasty & Oncology

• Retinoblastoma Screening and Management
• Congenital Ptosis Sling Surgery

Neuro-ophthalmology

Diagnosis & Management of Traumatic Optic neuropathy, Optic neuritis (Typical & atypical), intracranial space occupying lesions and other neuro-ophthalmological disorders

      Also, well versed with adult Cataract – Small incision cataract surgery, Phacoemulsification, other Anterior segment procedures and glaucoma surgeries.

     I presented various Seminars, Case presentation and Journal clubs during the fellowship. In addition, I have participated in inter departmental educational     meetings and conferences and have presented at these meetings. Presented cases, seminars on varied topics in the subspeciality meets (Paediatric Ophthalmology & Strabismus).
